Since 1995, the Kingfishers Bridge nature reserve www.kingfishersbridge.org has transformed 250 acres of farmland some 10 miles north of Cambridge into a vital sanctuary for numerous endangered species of the Fens, employing pioneering conservation techniques that have led to a remarkable recovery in both flora and fauna.
