Graces

Graces submitted to the Regent House on 15 December 2010

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 24 December 2010.

1. That the regulations for the Audit Committee (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 987) be amended as set out in the Council’s Notice, dated 13 December 2010 (see p. 314).

2. That the regulations for the Council for Lifelong Learning be rescinded with immediate effect.1

3. That Regulation 2(d) of the regulations for Precincts of the University and residence be amended so as to read:2

or (d) in any hospital or nursing home within the precincts of the University, or in any University Hospital, Associate Teaching Hospital or Associate Teaching General Practice;

4. That the recommendations in paragraph 11 of the Joint Report of the Council and the General Board, dated 15 November 2010 and 3 November 2010, on the introduction of a degree of Master of Corporate Law (the M.C.L.) (Reporter, 2009–10, p. 189) be approved.

5. That the recommendations in paragraph 7 of the Joint Report of the Council and the General Board, dated 15 November 2010 and 1 November 2010, on the future of Ordinary Examinations and the Ordinary B.A. Degree (Reporter, 2009–10, p. 208) be approved.
