The Reverend Edward Robert Michael Norman, M.A., Ph.D., D.D., FRHistS, FRSA, Emeritus Fellow and former Dean of Peterhouse, formerly Fellow of Jesus College and of Selwyn College, sometime University Lecturer in the Faculty of History, Reith Lecturer and Six Preacher, died on 13 April 2026, aged 87 years.

Sir Ewan William Harper, CBE, M.A., Honorary Fellow of Trinity Hall, Chief Executive Officer and Founding Director of the United Learning Trust, Chief Executive Officer of the United Church Schools Trust and founding Trustee of the Lambeth Trust, died on 3 July 2026, aged 87 years.

The Right Honourable James Peter Hymers, Baron Mackay of Clashfern, KT, M.A., (Hon.) LL.D., FRSE, Honorary Fellow of Trinity College and of Girton College, sometime Commissary and also Lady Margaret’s Preacher, formerly Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain, a former Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and latterly former Lord Clerk Register of Scotland, died on 7 July 2026, aged 99 years.

Dr Thomas Otis White, M.A. Status, Life Fellow of King’s College, sometime University Lecturer in the Department of Physics, died on 15 July 2026, aged 88 years.
