Graces

Graces submitted to the Regent House on 7 June 2017

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, unless they are withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 103) will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 16 June 2017.

1. That The Right Honourable Lady Justice Arden dbe, G, be appointed Chair of the Septemviri to serve with immediate effect until 31 December 2020.

2. That approval be given for the divestment of land and a building at 1 Regent Street as shown on the plan attached to the Council’s Notice dated 5 June 2017 (p. 566).

3. That the recommendations in paragraph 3 of the Report of the General Board, dated 8 May 2017, on the establishment of a Professorship of Organic Chemistry (Reporter, 6464, 2016–17, p. 513) be approved.

4. That the recommendations in paragraph 10 of the Report of the General Board, dated 8 May 2017, on the introduction of a Master of Accounting Degree in the Judge Business School (Reporter, 6464, 2016–17, p. 513) be approved.

5. That the table of fees attached to the regulations for University Composition Fees (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 150, as amended by Grace 2 of 18 January 2017, Grace 4 of 22 February 2017, and Grace 2 of 26 April 2017) be amended for 2018–19 as set out below:1

6. That the table of fees attached to the regulations for University Composition Fees (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 150, as amended by Grace 1 of 20 April 2016, Grace 1 of 15 June 2016, Grace 1 of 13 July 2016, Grace 1 of 21 September 2016; and by Grace 2 of 26 April 2017) be amended for 2017–18 and 2018–19 as set out below:2
