That, in accordance with the arrangements approved by Grace 2 of 24 June 2015, the Council's authority in advance to arrange, on the advice of the Finance Committee, external finance up to a total amount of £300m for income-generating projects, be renewed for a further two years from 18 May 2017.1

Footnotes

  • 1By Grace 2 of 24 June 2015, the Council was granted authority to arrange external finance of up to £300m for two years until 18 May 2017, with the ability to request continuation of that authority on a rolling two-year basis by Grace, in the event that external finance was not arranged within that initial period or was not up to a total amount of £300m. As no external finance has been arranged to date under the terms of the Grace, the Council is seeking to renew its authority for a further two years.
