Cambridge Philosophical Society

The Society’s A. V. Hill Lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, 27 February 2017, in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Lecture Theatre, Department of Chemistry, Lensfield Road. Professor Calum MacRae, Chief of Cardiology, Harvard Medical School, USA, will deliver a lecture entitled Systems level in vivo modelling of vertebrate physiology and pharmacology.

The Society’s Honorary Fellows Lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 1 March 2017, in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Lecture Theatre, Department of Chemistry, Lensfield Road. Professor Michael F. Ashby, CBE, FRS, FREng, Emeritus Professor of Materials, Department of Engineering, will deliver a lecture entitled Evolution in action: materials, design, and sustainability.
