Rodney Hill, M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D., FRS, Professor of Mechanics of Solids, 1972–79, Life Fellow of Gonville and Caius College, died on 2 February 2011, aged 89 years.
Paley Johnson, M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D., Fellow of Trinity College, formerly University Lecturer in Colloid Science (subsequently University Lecturer in Biochemistry), died on Friday, 11 February 2011, aged 93 years.
