Graces

Grace submitted to the Regent House on 26 November 2009

The Council submits the following Grace to the Regent House. This Grace, unless it is withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 4 December 2009.

1. That Professor Sir Leszek Krysztof Borysiewicz be appointed as Vice-Chancellor to hold office for seven years from 1 October 2010.1

The Council has sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 28 November 2009:

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by incorporation:

1. Clemens Friedrich Kaminski, Fellow of Robinson College and Reader in Optical Measurement Science in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Oxford (1997).

2. Maryon Elizabeth McDonald, Fellow of Robinson College, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Oxford (1983).


That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B, III, 6:
