Research Excellence Framework 2021 Code of Practice

The University has received confirmation from Research England that the University’s Code of Practice for REF2021 has been approved. The Code of Practice sets out the University’s polices and operational arrangements that have been put in place to develop the REF2021 submission. This includes the procedures to determine which staff are eligible and for the selection of research outputs for submission. It has been developed in consultation with individual staff and staff group representatives across the collegiate University, including through an online consultation in March 2019 (Reporter, 6541, 2018–19, p. 440). The Code of Practice is available at: https://www.ref.admin.cam.ac.uk/code-practice.

Roll of the Regent House: deadline for late additions: 20 January 2020

11 December 2019

The Registrary has received notice from a Faculty that, owing to an administrative oversight, changes in the status of 45 individuals which made them eligible for Regent House membership were not reported promptly. As a result of that delay, the names of those individuals were not included on the promulgated Roll when it was published on 6 November 2019. In the circumstances, the Registrary has agreed exceptionally to give a deadline for reporting late additions to the promulgated Roll for 2019–20, so that these 45 individuals can be added alongside any others that have not been included for similar reasons. Please email roll.enquiries@admin.cam.ac.uk by 20 January 2020 confirming details of the qualification for Regent House membership, which must date from the period up to and including 6 November 2019. A complete list of the names being added to the 2019–20 Roll will be published on 5 February 2020.
