Appointments, reappointments, and grants of title

Appointments

University Lecturer

Physics. Dr Christina Jane Potter, N, M.Sci., Ph.D., London, appointed from 1 September 2018 until the retiring age and subject to a probationary period of five years.

Senior Language Teaching Officers

Classics. Mr Franco Giuseppe Giacinto Basso, TH, and Dr Charles Weiss, CL, appointed from 1 October 2018 until the retiring age.

Senior Under-Librarian

University Library. Mr Michael Anthony Williams, B.Sc., Durham, M.Sc., Robert Gordon, Aberdeen, appointed from 4 February 2019 until the retiring age and subject to a probationary period of nine months.

Reappointments

Associate Lecturers

Clinical Medicine. Dr Mark Ralph Andrew Manford, HO, has been reappointed until 30 September 2023.

Pathology. Dr Nicholas Brown has been reappointed from 1 October 2018 for a further five years.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Clinical Medicine. Mr Thomas Santarius has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 December 2018 until 30 November 2020.

Engineering. Ms Josephine Anna Eleanor Hughes has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2018 until 30 September 2019.

Human, Social, and Political Science. Dr Eona Bell, SE, and Dr Sertaç Sehlikoglu, PEM, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2018 until 30 September 2019. Dr Raymond Apthorpe, Dr Maria Ignacia Arteaga Perez, Dr Matteo Benussi, Dr Joe Ellis, Dr Natasha Grist, Dr Rosalie Anne Jones McVey, Dr Lorena Lombardozzi, and Dr Sinead Mowlds have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2018 until 30 September 2020. Dr Pier Paolo Heywood, HO, Dr Patrick Thomas McKearney, CHU, and Dr Fiona Catherine Wright, K, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2018 for a further year. Dr Shana Cohen, ED, Dr Zeynep Basak Gurtin, K, and Dr Sara Silvestri, ED, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2018 for a further two years.

Physics. Dr Michal Patryk Kwasigroch and Dr Andreas Nunnenkamp have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2018 for a further two years.

Veterinary Medicine. Dr Nicholas Henry Bexfield, EM, Mr Paul Malcolm Freeman, CTH, Dr Marie-Aude Annette Christiane Genain, and Ms An Emilie G. Vanhaesebrouck have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 January 2019 until 31 December 2020. Mr Matthew William McMillan has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 January 2019 for a further two years.
