Discussion on Tuesday, 20 March 2018

The Vice-Chancellor invites those qualified under the regulations for Discussions (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 105) and employees of the University who are members of the USS to attend a Discussion in the Lady Mitchell Hall on the Sidgwick site on Tuesday, 20 March 2018 at 2 p.m., for the discussion of:

1. Topic of concern to the University: Universities Superannuation Scheme (Reporter, 6497, 2017–18, p. 412).

Arrangements specific to this Discussion are set out in the Notice of 26 February 2018 and general information on Discussion attendance is available online at https://www.governance.cam.ac.uk/governance/decision-making/discussions/.

Congregation for the conferment of Honorary Degrees: 20 June 2018

The Vice-Chancellor reminds members of the University that a Congregation will be held on Wednesday, 20 June 2018, at which the Chancellor expects to confer Honorary Degrees (see Graces 1–8, p. 452). Admission will be by ticket only and details of the arrangements and application for tickets are expected to be published in the Reporter on Wednesday, 25 April 2018.

University Composition Fees

The Council proposes additional 2018–19 fees and 2019–20 fees which have been recommended by the relevant bodies for courses for the degree of Master of Studies.

The Council is submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 3, p. 452) for the approval of the fees set out in the Schedule attached to this Notice.
