Regulations for examinations

History and Modern Languages Tripos

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 343)

With immediate effect

The General Board, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board of Modern and Medieval Languages, has approved the insertion of a temporary regulation to specify the year in which each examination will be held for the first time.

By inserting the following temporary regulation, as Regulation 21:

Temporary Regulation

21. The examinations for the History and Modern Languages Tripos shall be held for the first time as follows:

Part Ia in 2018;

Part Ib in 2019;

Part II in 2020.

History and Politics Tripos

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 351)

With immediate effect

The General Board, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board of History, has approved the insertion of a temporary regulation to specify the year in which each examination will be held for the first time and for Regulation 11(b) to be changed so that the minimum terms kept should be three.

By replacing ‘seven’ with ‘three’ in Regulation 11(b).

By inserting the following temporary regulation, as Regulation 18:

Temporary Regulation

18. The examinations for the History and Politics Tripos shall be held for the first time as follows:

Part Ia in 2018;

Part Ib in 2019;

Part II in 2020.

Modern and Medieval Languages Tripos: Correction

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 390)

With immediate effect

The Notice published on 21 June 2017 (Reporter, 6470, 2016–17, p. 668) contained an error. A correction to Schedule Ib to remove the footnote from Paper Sp.6 following its reinstatement in Schedule B was mistakenly omitted. The listed amendments to Schedule Ib should have included the following:

By amending the Schedule so as to:

(h)remove the footnote to Paper Sp.6.

Diplomas and Certificates open to non-members of the University

The General Board, on the recommendation of the Strategic Committee of the Institute of Continuing Education, has approved the following additions to the Schedule of Diplomas and Certificates open to non‑members of the University:
