The Vice-Chancellor invites those qualified under the regulations for Discussions (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 103) to attend a Discussion in the Senate-House on Tuesday, 7 February 2017, at 2 p.m. for the discussion of:
 

1. Second Joint Report of the Council and the General Board, dated 23 January 2017 and 18 January 2017, on the consideration of student complaints of harassment and sexual misconduct (Reporter, 6452, 2016–17, p. 326).

2. Report of the General Board, dated 18 January 2017, on the establishment of a Professorship of International Law (Reporter, 6452, 2016–17, p. 337).

Election to the Board of Scrutiny

27 January 2017

The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has received the following nomination, in accordance with Statute A VII 3, for election to the Board of Scrutiny in class (c)(ii) (a member of the Regent House), and that it has been certified to him that the candidate has consented to be nominated:

Mr Ian Nicholas Molyneux Wright, PET, nominated by Dr D. S. Secher, CAI, and Dr S. M. Murk-Jansen, PET.

No other candidates having been nominated, the Vice-Chancellor declares that Mr Wright is elected to the Board of Scrutiny in class (c)(ii) with immediate effect until 30 September 2019.

Election to the Nominating Committee for External Members of the Council

27 January 2017

The Vice-Chancellor announces that he has received the following nomination for election to the Nominating Committee for External Members of the Council in class (d) (a member of the Senate elected by the Regent House), and that it has been certified to him that the candidate has consented to be so nominated:

Dr Nick Bampos, TH, nominated by Professor R. L. Hunter, T, and Professor S. Balasubramanian, T.

No other candidates having been nominated, the Vice-Chancellor declares that Dr Bampos is elected to the Nominating Committee in class (d) with immediate effect until 30 September 2019.
