PREACHERS BEFORE THE UNIVERSITY

The following persons have been appointed in the manner prescribed by Ordinance to preach before the University during the academical year 2013–14.

20 October	The Reverend Dr Nicholas Sagovsky, formerly Fellow and Dean of Clare College, member of Clare Hall and of St Edmund’s College, Canon Emeritus of Westminster Abbey and Whitelands Professorial Fellow, University of Roehampton
3 November	Dr Jennifer Barnes, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for International Strategy and formerly President of Murray Edwards College (Lady Margaret’s Preacher at Commemoration of Benefactors)

9 February	The Reverend Professor David Wilkinson, of Fitzwilliam College, Principal of St John’s College, Durham
9 March	The Reverend Professor Oliver O’Donovan, Professor of Christian Ethics and Practical Theology, University of Edinburgh (Hulsean Preacher)

22 April	The Reverend Canon Jeremy Davies, of Corpus Christi College, Canon Emeritus and formerly Precentor of Salisbury Cathedral, as Preacher at the Commemoration of John Mere, in St Benedict’s Church (at 11.45 a.m.)
4 May	The Very Reverend Dr Frances Ward, Dean of St Edmundsbury
25 May	Dr Clare Amos, of Girton College, Programme Executive for Interreligious Dialogue and Co-operation, World Council of Churches, Geneva (Ramsden Preacher)

Except for the Mere’s Commemoration service, University Sermons are delivered in Great St Mary’s Church at 11.15 a.m. on the Sundays stated.
