Graces

Graces submitted to the Regent House on 12 January 2011

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 21 January 2011.

1. That, on the recommendation of the General Board, the title of the Professorship of Economics (1965) which was re-titled the Frank Ramsey Professorship of Economics by Grace 13 of 27 April 1994 for the tenure of Sir Partha Dasgupta, be permanently retitled as the Frank Ramsey Professorship of Economics.1

2. That the regulations for the Henry Arthur Thomas Fund be amended as follows:2

Regulation 6 (Henry Arthur Thomas Fund).

By replacing in sub-paragraph (a) the text ‘Regulations 14–20’ by the text ‘Regulations 15–19’.

Regulations 19–21 (Henry Arthur Thomas Travel Exhibitions).

By removing from line 3 of Regulation 19 the words ‘and to the Treasurer’, by deleting Regulation 20, and by renumbering Regulation 21 as 20.

Regulations 22–25 (Henry Arthur Thomas Research Foundation Fund).

By renumbering the regulations as 21–24 respectively.
