College Research Fellowships, 2011–12

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP(S)

Applications are invited for up to two postdoctoral non-stipendiary Research Fellowships, tenable from 1 October 2011 for two years initially, with the possibility of renewal for a further year. Applicants should be of postdoctoral level or expect to attain it by 1 October 2011, should have adequate financial support from a grant or contract for research, and should normally be resident and conducting their research in Cambridge in either the arts or sciences. The successful candidates will be entitled to Fellow’s Commons.

Applications should include a current curriculum vitae, a research proposal, not normally exceeding 1,000 words, and the names of two referees, whom the candidate should ask to write directly to the Master, St Edmund’s College, Cambridge, CB3 0BN. Short-listed candidates will be invited to submit a substantial piece of work relating to their research for evaluation. The closing date for receipt of applications and references is Friday, 21 January 2011. It is hoped to interview on Thursday, 10 March 2011.
