Graces

Graces submitted to the Regent House on 19 February 2020

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, unless they are withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 105) will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 28 February 2020.

1. That the recommendations in paragraph 11 of the Second-stage Report of the Council, dated 15 January 2020, on the refurbishment of 1 Regent Street for the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (Reporter, 6572, 2019–20, p. 186) be approved.

2. That the recommendations in paragraph 19 of the Joint Report of the Council and the General Board, dated 20 January 2020 and 27 November 2019, on the introduction of a final degree classification (Reporter, 6574, 2019–20, p. 300) be approved.1

Graces to be submitted to the Regent House at a Congregation on 21 February 2020

The Council has sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 21 February 2020:1

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts by incorporation:

  1.  Elizabeth Ann Osman, Fellow of Homerton College, Master of Arts of the University of Oxford (2009).

  2.  Richard David John Pinel, Fellow of Jesus College, Master of Arts of the University of Oxford (2009).

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B II 2:

  3.  Alan James William Brooks, Director in the Local Examinations Syndicate.

  4.  Shawn Michael Bullock, Bye Fellow of Emmanuel College and Reader in the Faculty of Education.

  5.  Tracy Louise Davnall, Administrative Officer in the Academic Division of the University Offices.

  6.  Lesley Dent, Administrative Officer in the Finance Division of the University Offices.

  7.  Caroline Rose Egan, Fellow of Emmanuel College and University Lecturer in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics.

  8.   Edmund Richard Stephan Kunji, Fellow of Trinity Hall and Professor of Biophysics in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences.

  9.  Timothy George Quinnell, Associate Lecturer in the Faculty of Clinical Medicine.

10.  Thomas Michael Sauerwald, Fellow of Emmanuel College and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Technology.
