Sandars Lectures, 2019–20: The Reader for this year’s series, Isabelle de Conihout, will deliver two lectures and a workshop on the theme French bookbindings and bibliophily, 16th–18th centuries; the lectures will take place on Wednesday, 4 and Thursday, 5 March 2020 at 5 p.m. in the Riley Auditorium, Gillespie Centre, Clare College Memorial Court, with a drinks reception and display at the University Library following the Thursday lecture; the workshop will be held at the University Library on Friday, 6 March 2020; all events free to attend; booking required for the workshop |
