Elections and appointment

The following elections and appointment have been made:

Elections

Professor Katja Röper, Diploma, Freie Universität Berlin, Ph.D., Heidelberg University, Principal Investigator, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, elected Herchel Smith Professor of Molecular Biology with effect from 1 January 2027.

Professor Amir Yacoby, M.Sc., Ph.D., Weizmann Institute of Science, Professor of Physics and Applied Physics, Harvard University, elected Ray Dolby Professor of Theoretical and Experimental Physics with effect from 1 September 2026. Professor Yacoby will act as a Visiting Research Professor from September 2026 to September 2027.
