The Chair of the Faculty Board of Biology gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, 7 November 2024, in the Department of Biochemistry, Hopkins Building, Tennis Court Road.
The main business is to elect one member of the Faculty Board in class (c), to serve from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2028, in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 605), via a procedure approved by the Faculty by which one member elected is nominated by the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience.
Nominations, for which the consent of the candidate must be obtained, signed by the proposer and seconder, together with notice of any other business, should be sent to the Secretary of the Faculty Board, Dr Fiona Russell (email: fjr22@cam.ac.uk), Faculty of Biology, 17 Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RX, to arrive not later than 12 noon on Monday, 4 November 2024.
The Chair of the Faculty Board of Classics gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, 14 November 2024 in room G19, Faculty of Classics.
The main item of business will be the election of members of the Faculty Board in class (c) to serve from 1 January 2025, in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 605).
Nominations for election and notice of any other business should be received by Nigel Thompson (email: nmt24@cam.ac.uk), Faculty of Classics, Sidgwick Avenue, not later than 7 November 2024.
The Chair of the Faculty Board of Earth Sciences and Geography gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Tuesday, 19 November 2024 in Room 101, Sir William Hardy Building, Downing Site.
The main business will be the election of members of the Faculty Board in class (c) to serve for four years from 1 January 2025, in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 605).
Nominations for the election and notice of any other business should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board, Dr Adam Strange (email: as820@cam.ac.uk), not later than 12 November 2024.
The Chair of the Faculty Board of Human, Social, and Political Science gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, 21 November 2024, via Zoom.
The main business will be the election of six members of the Faculty Board in class (c), to serve from 1 January 2025 in accordance with Regulation 1 of the General Regulations for the Constitution of the Faculty Boards (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 605).
Nominations, confirmed by the proposer and seconder, for which the consent of the candidate must be obtained, should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board, Marie Butcher (email: mab30@cam.ac.uk), no later than 12 noon on 14 November 2024. Notice of any other business should reach the Secretary by the same date.
