Elections

Professor Daping Chu, M.A., SE, Ph.D., Warwick, Director of Research in Photonics and Sensors, Department of Engineering, elected Nanjing Professor of Technology and Innovation with effect from 1 December 2019.

Professor Angelos Michaelides, B.Sc., Ph.D., Queen’s University of Belfast, Professor of Theoretical Chemistry, University College London, elected Professor of Chemistry (1968) with effect from 1 October 2020.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Architecture. Dr Janina Schupp has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 until 30 September 2020.

French. Dr Emma Caitlin Claussen and Dr Oliver Mayeux have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 until 30 September 2021. Dr Anne-Laure Brevet, Dr Anne Elizabeth Cobby, G, Dr Georgina Louise Evans, JN, Dr Miranda Helen Griffin, CTH, Dr Jean Khalfa, T, Dr Isabelle McNeill, TH, Dr Rebecca Alexandra Mitchell and Dr Oliver Tonneau, HO, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 for a further two years.

Geography. Dr Howard P. Nelson has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 until 30 September 2021.

German and Dutch. Dr Stephanie Leigh Galasso, JE, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 until 30 September 2021. Italian. Ms Kim A. Groothuis, Dr Nicolo Morelli, SE, and Dr Katherine Lucy Powlesland have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 until 30 September 2021. Dr Scott Annett, R, Ms Christiana Brown, Dr Lucia Cavalli-Roberts, Dr Ruth Chester, Ms Emanuela Maria Ester Davey, MUR, and Dr Helena Claire Phillips-Robins, SE, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 for a further two years.

Modern and Medieval Languages. Dr Regina Karousou-Fokas and Dr Aglaia Giannakopoulou have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 for a further two years.

Slavonic Studies. Dr Sarah Vitali has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 until 30 September 2021. Dr John Philip Kingman, Dr Susan Kirsten Larsen, F, W, Ms Edyta Nowosielska, Dr Rachel Anne Polonsky, MUR, and Dr Vera Tsareva-Brauner have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 for a further two years.

Spanish and Portuguese. Ms Lucy Foster, Dr Rhiannon Elizabeth McGlade, Dr Txuss Martin, Dr Aretousa Giannakou, Dr Luis Castellvi, Dr Carlos Fonseca, Mr Joshua Blanchard Lewis and Ms Rebecca Fell have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2019 until 30 September 2021.
