The Society’s third talk of the Lent Term will take place at 6 p.m. on Monday, 11 February 2019, in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Lecture Theatre, Department of Chemistry, Lensfield Road. Professor Cuacher Birkar, of the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, will give a lecture entitled When algebra meets geometry.
