Elections

Professor Paul Lane, M.A., Ph.D., JN , FSA, Professor of Global Archaeology, Uppsala University, elected Jennifer Ward Oppenheimer Professor of the Deep History and Archaeology of Africa, with effect from 1 June 2018.

Professor Takashi Hiiragi, M.D., Ph.D., Kyoto University, Group Leader, European Molecular Biology Laboratory, elected Charles Darwin Professor of Animal Embryology, with effect from 1 October 2018.

Professor David James Pitt-Watson, B.A., Oxford, M.A., M.B.A., Stanford, USA, elected Pembroke Visiting Professor of International Finance from 9 April 2018 until 9 July 2018, assigned to the Judge Business School.

Divinity. Dr Simeon McLean Zahl, Ph.D., PET, A.B., Harvard, appointed from 1 September 2018 until the retiring age and subject to a probationary period of three years.

Law. Dr Lars Roland Vinx, M.A., Heidelberg, Ph.D., Toronto, appointed from 1 October 2018 until the retiring age and subject to a probationary period of five years.

Physiology, Development, and Neuroscience. Dr Fabian Grabenhorst, Undergraduate Studies, Diploma, Bielefeld, Germany, D.Phil., Oxford, appointed from 1 April 2018 until the retiring age and subject to a probationary period of five years.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Centre of Latin-American Studies. Dr Grace Livingstone has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2017 until 30 September 2019.

Clinical Medicine. Reverend Dr Derek J. Fraser has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 December 2017 until 30 November 2019.
