The Vice-Chancellor invites those qualified under the regulations for Discussions (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 103) to attend a Discussion in the Senate-House, on Tuesday, 14 January 2014, at 2 p.m., for the discussion of:

The Vice-Chancellor invites those qualified under the regulations for Discussions (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 103) to attend a Discussion in the Senate-House, on Tuesday, 21 January 2014, at 2 p.m., for the discussion of:

Election of a member of the Council’s Finance Committee in class (b)

6 January 2014

The Head of the Registrary’s Office has received the following nomination for the Council’s Finance Committee, for election in class (b) by the Representatives of the Colleges:

Mr Simon Summers, CTH, nominated by Ms D. Lowther, G, and Mr P. C. Warren, CL

No other candidates having been nominated, Mr Summers is duly elected, to serve as a member of the Finance Committee for two years from 1 January 2014.

Admission to the University Botanic Garden

The Botanic Garden Syndicate give notice that the Rules of Admission to the Garden (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 637) have been amended by revising the penultimate paragraph of Rule 2 so as to read:

All persons working in the Department of Plant Sciences, the Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge University, and the Botanic Garden may apply to the Director for a card permitting free admission. An admission card is not transferable.
