The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, unless they are withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 11 November 2011.
1. That the regulations for the dates of examinations and publication of class-lists (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 232) be amended as follows:
Regulation 5.
By removing from the list of examinations for which class-lists are to be published not later than the Tuesday before the days of General Admission the reference to Part Ib of the Engineering Tripos.
2. That the regulations for payments to Examiners and Assessors be amended by rescinding Regulation 7.1
1Statutes and Ordinances, p. 241. Regulation 7 of the regulations refers to payments of expenses to Examiners for the Final M.B. Examination. Such payments are now made under the medical Service Increment for Teaching (SIFT) arrangements and the arrangement under the University’s regulations is no longer necessary.
