Annual Meetings of the Faculty Boards

Earth Sciences and Geography

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Earth Sciences and Geography gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Tuesday, 9 November 2010, in the Seminar Room, Department of Geography, Downing Place. The business will be the election, in accordance with Statute C, IV, 2, of two members of the Board in class (c) to serve for four years from 1 January 2011.

Nominations for the election, and notice of any other business, should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board (secretary@esg.cam.ac.uk) not later than 8 November 2010.

Mathematics

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Mathematics gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Thursday, 18 November 2010, in the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Meeting Room 5, Pavilion A. The main item of business will be the election, in accordance with Statute C, IV, 2, of two members of the Faculty Board in class (c) to serve for four years from 1 January 2011.

Nominations for these elections should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board of Mathematics, Faculty Office, Room B1.29, Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Wilberforce Road, not later than noon on Thursday, 11 November.

Nominations should be in writing, should bear the signatures of the proposer and seconder, and should contain a signed statement by the nominee that he/she would consent to serve if elected. Any further items for the agenda should reach the Secretary by the same date.

Modern and Medieval Languages

The Chairman of the Faculty Board of Modern and Medieval Languages gives notice that the Annual Faculty Meeting will be held at 2.15 p.m. on Monday, 22 November 2010, in the Lady Mitchell Hall, Sidgwick Avenue. The main business will be to elect three members of the Faculty Board in class (c), in accordance with Statute C, IV, 2(c), to serve for four years with effect from 1 January 2011.

Nominations for the election and notice of any other business should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board, Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages, Sidgwick Avenue, not later than Friday, 12 November 2010.

Politics, Psychology, Sociology, and International Studies

The Chair of the Faculty Board of Politics, Psychology, Sociology, and International Studies gives notice that the Annual Meeting of the Faculty will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, 18 November 2010, in the PPSIS Committee Room.

Notice of any business for this meeting should reach the Secretary of the Faculty Board, Dr Mary Griffin (email mcag2@cam.ac.uk), Faculty of Politics, Psychology, Sociology, and International Studies, Free School Lane, not later than Friday, 12 November 2010.

Natural Sciences Tripos, Part II (Biological and Biomedical Sciences), 2010–11: Notice

The Faculty Board of Biology gives notice that the following combination of Major and Minor subjects, additional to, or amending, those previously published (Reporter, 2009–10, pp. 528–29), will be offered in NST Part II (Biological and Biomedical Sciences) in 2010–11:
