Report of the General Board on the establishment of a Centre for Commonwealth Education: Notice

12 May 2003

The Council have received the remarks made at the Discussion of this Report on 29 April 2003 (see Reporter, p. 889). They note the remarks made by the Dean of Education that the Centre will provide the Faculty of Education with a unique opportunity to build on its own existing links with the Commonwealth and that the Centre 'will undertake a programme of truly international research activity that will supplement and support … the world-class research that is already being carried out in the Faculty'.

The Council are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 1, p. 940) for the approval of the recommendation in the Report.
