Announcement of lectures and seminars

The following lectures and seminars will be open to members of the University and others who are interested:

Clinical Veterinary Medicine. Dr Graham Belsham, of the Institute for Animal Health, will give a seminar, entitled Control of protein synthesis within piconavirus-infected cells, at 12 noon on Wednesday, 12 July, in Seminar Room 2, New Teaching Block, Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine, Madingley Road.

Dr George Lust, of the University of Cornell, will give a seminar, entitled Search for molecular genetic-markers for canine hip dysplasia, at 1 p.m. on Monday, 17 July, in Lecture Theatre 1, Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine.

MRC Dunn Human Nutrition Unit. Seminars will be held at 3 p.m. on the following dates in the Level 3 Seminar Room, Wellcome Trust/MRC Building, Hills Road.

12 July Circles: the replication-recombination-segregation connection, by Dave Sherratt, of the University of Oxford.
25 July Double strand break repair in human cells, by Steven West, of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Clare Hall Laboratories.
