The electors intend to proceed to an election to the Readership in the History of Medicine with effect from as early a date as may be arranged. The Readership is at present attached to the Directorship of the (Oxford) Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine. A non-stipendiary Fellowship at Green College is associated with the Readership.
Applications (ten copies, or one only from overseas candidates), naming three persons who have agreed to act as referees on this occasion, should be received not later than 29 March 1999 by the Registrar, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JD, from whom further particulars may be obtained.
