Wolfson Industrial Liaison Office

CONTRACTS OFFICER

The Wolfson Industrial Liaison Office promotes collaboration between the University of Cambridge and industry, consultancy, and technology transfer.

 Applications are invited for a Contracts Officer. The postholder will work closely with the existing staff of the office, academic staff of the University, and contacts in industry on the negotiation of industrially funded research contracts, agreements relating to the commercial exploitation of intellectual property, and the overseeing of consultancy contracts. The successful candidate, who would normally be expected to possess a degree, will be numerate, and be a skilled communicator both orally and in writing, will have developed a familiarity with contracts and legal documentation through at least three years' relevant experience in an educational or commercial environment, and will have the ability to prioritize a varied workload.

 The appointment will be for an initial period of three years with reappointment thereafter being subject to satisfactory performance. The salary will be in the range of £17,606 to £22,785, according to age and experience. Interviews will take place in mid-November.
