SENIOR COMPUTER ASSOCIATE
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Computer Associate in the Institute of Theoretical Geophysics. This is an exciting and challenging full-time position which is available immediately for a computer systems administrator in support of cutting-edge computation in the earth sciences. The ideal candidate will have experience of Unix, NT, Mac administration, and networking. The person appointed will be responsible for day-to-day operation, strategic planning, purchasing, W3 and Internet administration, maintenance of software, and hardware security. Good managerial and interpersonal skills are needed, as is a creative outlook. A long-term contract is a possibility for the right candidate.
Salary will be in the region of £21,894 to £25,552 a year.
