Annual Reports and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 July 2023

The Council approved the Annual Reports and Financial Statements (p. 298) as received on 27 November 2023. They were signed by the Vice-Chancellor, an external member of the Council and the Chief Financial Officer and submitted to the Office for Students on 18 January 2024.

The Reports and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 July 2023 will be included in the items listed for Discussion on Tuesday, 19 March 2024.

Annual remuneration report, 2022–23

The Council is required to publish each year a remuneration report setting out the principles behind the University’s approach to the remuneration of its staff, in line with the guidance provided by the Committee of University Chairs and the Office for Students. The remuneration report for 2022–23 was approved by the Remuneration Committee and the Council on 27 November 2023 and is published on p. 388 below for the information of the University. The report also provides remuneration data which should be read in parallel with that provided in the Notes to the Financial Statements section (p. 298  at p. 342).
