The General Board has agreed to revise the Schedules to the Ordinance on payments additional to stipend (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 702), using the authority granted by Regulation 4 of that Ordinance. The changes update the level of additional payments paid to Heads of Departments, by applying an analysis of Department size and complexity based on the numbers of staff and students and on their space allocation and annual operating expenses. All Departments previously listed in Schedule X have been assimilated within other Schedules. As part of the transitional arrangements, the General Board has agreed that no current Head of Department should receive a lower level of payment as a result of these changes, but the changes will apply to new appointments as Head of Department.
By rescinding the existing Schedules (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 702) and replacing them with the following:
