The Darwin College Lectures take place on Fridays during Lent Term (January to March) at 5.30 p.m. in The Lady Mitchell Hall, Sidgwick Avenue, with an adjacent overflow theatre with live TV coverage. The series is open to all and works on a first-come-first-served basis. This year’s theme is Enigmas and the first lecture, entitled Human origins, will be given by Dr Adam Rutherford, author and broadcaster, on Friday, 17 January 2020.
