Title of Honorary Professor: Notice

In accordance with the regulations for the titles of Honorary Professor and Honorary Reader (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 649), and on the recommendation of the Faculty Boards concerned, the General Board have conferred the following titles on the persons named:

For five years with effect from 1 October 2011:

Honorary Professor of Medieval European History: Dr Elisabeth van Houts, Director of Studies, Emmanuel College, in the Faculty of History.

Honorary Professor of Behaviour and Health: Professor Theresa Marteau, Director of the Behaviour and Health Research Unit, in the Faculty of Clinical Medicine.

Honorary Professor of Social and Economic Geography: Professor Susan Smith, Mistress of Girton College, in the Department of Geography.

Honorary Professor of Lipid Signalling: Dr Michael Wakelam, Director of the Babraham Institute, in the Faculty of Clinical Medicine.
