Graces submitted to the Regent House on 13 November 2002

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 113), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 22 November 2002.

1. That Regulation 1 for the Rausing Fund for History and Philosophy of Science (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 848) and Regulation 2 for the Raymond and Edith Williamson Fund (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 901) be amended so that the Managers of the Funds in each case are as follows:1

(a) the Head of the Department of History and Philosophy of Science;
(b) the Secretary of the Board of History and Philosophy of Science;
(c) the Secretary of the Department of History and Philosophy of Science;
(d) the Curator of the Whipple Museum of the History of Science;
(e) three persons appointed by the Board of History and Philosophy of Science, who shall be appointed in the Michaelmas Term to serve for three years from 1 January following their appointment.

2. That the recommendations in paragraph 5 of the Report of the Council, dated 3 June 2002, on the stipend attaching to the office of Director in the Unified Administrative Service (Reporter, 2001-02, p. 864) be approved.2

3. That the recommendations in paragraph 5 of the Report of the General Board, dated 10 July 2002, on the establishment of a Visiting Professorship of Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation in the Judge Institute of Management Studies (Reporter, 2001-02, p. 1273) be approved.3

4. That the regulations for dates of examinations and publication of class-lists be further amended, with immediate effect, as follows:4

Regulation 2.

(A) By removing the entry for the Geographical Tripos, Part II, under 'Wednesday before last Sunday in May' and inserting it under 'Thursday before last Sunday but one in May'.

(B) By removing the entry for the Mathematical Tripos, Part IB, under 'Wednesday before first Sunday in June' and inserting it under 'Tuesday before the first Sunday in June'.
