Sir ROGER WILLIAM CORK, M.A., KBE, City Fellow of Hughes Hall, 1998-2002, 669th Lord Mayor of London, died on Monday, 21 October 2002, aged 55.
Sir JOHN HABAKKUK, M.A., Hon. Litt.D., FBA, Honorary Fellow of St John's College, 1971-2002, and of Pembroke College, 1973-2002, Fellow of Pembroke College, 1938-50, University Lecturer in Economics, 1946-50, Principal of Jesus College, Oxford, 1967-84, and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, 1973-77, died on Sunday, 3 November 2002, aged 87.
