POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is pleased to announce the launch of a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship scheme. The aims of the scheme are to encourage new talent in the defence field; maintain interest in defence studies in the academic community; and encourage informed debate on defence issues. The Fellowships, which are tenable for three years, are open to candidates who have recently completed a Ph.D. Degree to undertake research on defence and security issues, and will be jointly funded by the MOD and the academic institution at which the Fellow is based.

The first two Fellowships will commence in January 1999.
