RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Applications are invited for a Research Associate to work on 'The future of collectivism in the regulation of the employment relationship and pay in Britain'. This inter-disciplinary project, which is part of the ESRC's new Future of Work programme, will be directed by Professor William Brown. The work will include fieldwork interviews and data processing. The successful candidate will have a good first degree and postgraduate qualification in a relevant social science and may have, or be nearing completion of, a doctorate. The appointment will be for two years from 1 October 1998 or later by agreement. Salary range £15,462-£21,436 a year (currently under review).
