Registrary's Office
Welcome to the Registrary's Office
Our staff provide administrative support services to the University Council and its committees, and implement the policies made by those bodies. Our team comprises various administrative officers with special responsibilities ranging from student matters and access funds through to the Societies Syndicate and University discipline.
We oversee the University's relations with Government, the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and Universities UK. Within Cambridge, we manage relations between the University and the Cambridge Colleges, the Cambridge University Student's Union and the Graduate Union. We maintain the Roll of the Regent House, which details membership of the University's governing body and principal electoral constituency. We also coordinate nominations for the annual Honorary Degrees ceremony.
The Draftsman's Office is responsible for producing the University's official publications, which include Statutes and Ordinances and Cambridge University Reporter.
