How to submit events

To add an event to What's On, log into the events system by clicking submit events below. Enter your Raven username (CRSID) and password or set up your own username and password (if you don’t have a Raven password). Please contact us when you have added yourself to the system because you will need to be confirmed as an event editor before you can start adding events.

What’s On is a free listing service of the University of Cambridge. The What’s On website and email newsletter publicise events at the University of Cambridge open to the public. Events must be organised by the University of Cambridge, or involve a member of the University who is contributing significantly in their professional capacity. All events must be confirmed before they can be submitted to What’s On.

Please read this document for important information on uploading events, including style guidelines.

Important note to avoid duplications: before submitting any events, please click on the ‘Calendar preview’ link on the left and check that your event has not already been submitted.

Please note we aim to have all events published within 4 working days.


Events can be uploaded to the What’s On website at any time. However, events to be considered for the email newsletter must be received in the third week of the preceding month. (For example; December edition events must be submitted by 22nd November) Inclusion in the email newsletter cannot be guaranteed as space is very limited.
