Feeding our children: Food poverty and food banks in a time of plenty

COVID-19 has shown the weaknesses that the food system has as well as increasing poverty everywhere. Countries which are considered to be wealthy though like the UK has seen a sharp increase in food poverty particularly among children who have gone hungry during the severe times of the pandemic. How can we guarantee the right to enough and nutritious food to all our children? What policies should governments put in place to create those safety nets and maintain the necessary standards to feed our children?
