Overcoming Class Barriers in Cambridge

Homerton College

This free two-day symposium will explore how working-class students and academics participate in the University of Cambridge, with the aim of removing barriers. Among other topics, it will address class barriers faced by working-class women and ethnic minorities, and how to support working-class students to thrive – and will celebrate the working-class origins of many Cambridge academics. There will be a total of seven panels over the course of the weekend. Further details will be forwarded on registration.
