Adam Pounds’ London ‘Cantata’ - first Cambridge performance - together with the Stapleford Choral Society,
and soloist Matthew Wilkinson.
The cantata draws on poems by George Eliiott 'In a London Drawing Room', Wilfred Owen 'Shadwell Stairs', William Wordswoth 'Upon Westminster Bridge', T.S. Elliott 'The Wasteland' and Amy Levy, (first Jewish woman to study at Cambridge), 'A march Day in London'.
