No matter how long you’ve lived in the area or how many times you’ve visited, we’re quietly confident that you’ll discover more than just a few intriguing stories and unusual facts that you weren’t aware of. What makes us so confident? Well, we tried this out on more than 50 Cambridge University alumni and partners and were rather pleased with the response we got!

You’ll hear about a monarch who on their one and only visit to Cambridge left their audience astounded, the full story behind the creature on that gold thing that has been described as “both hypnotically beautiful and deeply disturbing”, the student prank that hit the front pages, the famous building that might never have been built if it hadn’t been for a discussion about dogs and much more.

Led by a Cambridge Green Badge Guide, we think you’ll be looking at the city centre in a whole new light after this tour!

The tour is wheelchair-friendly and will be at a leisurely pace.
