A Polychoral Extravaganza

The Centre for Music Performance and Girton College present a celebration of polychoral music, featuring Tallis’s Spem in alium, Striggio’s 40-part motet Ecce beatam lucem and a reconstruction of a 33-part Magnificat by Giovanni Gabrieli.

The programme is presented in collaboration with Margaret Faultless, leader of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and Jeremy West, founder of the leading historic-brass ensemble His Majestys Sagbutts & Cornetts.
