Reimagining the world of work: Mental wellbeing, productivity and the workplace

Mon 5 December 2022

Downing College

Leading experts will discuss how we can generate new knowledge through research to enhance mental wellbeing, support productivity, and equip the workplace of the future with interventions that prioritise and promote mental wellbeing.

Prof Gordon Harold (Faculty of Education, Cambridge) and Justine Andrew and Rachel Hopcroft (KPMG), with chair Prof Diane Coyle (Bennett Institute for Public Policy, Cambridge), will discuss this new research collaboration on mental wellbeing, productivity, and the workplace – for a healthier workforce and economy.

They’ll debate the initial interdisciplinary thinking around policy ‘solutions’ for better mental wellbeing in the workplace. The findings from which will inform the policy implications for local and national governments, and individual workplaces.

There will be the opportunity to ask your own questions.

Please arrive from 5.00pm to register in advance of the fireside chat starting at 5.30pm, at Downing College, Cambridge, CB2 1DQ.

A drinks reception will follow – from 6.45pm to 8.00pm – for guests to network with fellow researchers, policymakers, government, business leaders, and health professionals.

Please note that places are limited, and the event will not be livestreamed. A recording of the event will be available shortly after the event.
