Archives and Digital History

Tue 13 April 2021

Mill Road History Society presents, for our April event, three short talks on archives and digital history.

- Mary Burgess (Cambridgeshire Collection) shares details of what materials the collection holds, and how you can access some of these online.
- Jim Costin (Cambridge University Library) offers tips and tricks on looking after digital records.
- Mary Naylor (Cambridgeshire Family History Society) looks at digitised parish records and what you can learn from them.

Our presenters will also be able to answer your questions.

The workshop will be held on Zoom, the link will be sent to our mailing list, https://millroadhistory.org.uk/mailing-list,/ a couple of days before the event starts. It will also be live streamed to our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/millroadhistory/, which can be viewed without a Facebook account.
