LifeLab Experimental Cancer Medicine Demystified

Fri 28 September 2018

Cancer Research UK, Cambridge Institute

We are teaming up with the Cambridge Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre who are opening up their doors for anyone with an interest in cancer research to get a feel for the realities of cutting edge research currently underway.

There will be a range of activities taking place around the centre alongside a program of talks. In the morning there will be sessions on: patient and public involvement, early detection, and disease monitoring through imaging. This will be followed by an afternoon covering: the personalised breast cancer programme, pancreatic cancer, and urological cancer.

We hope you can join us for an insightful day looking deeper into the innovative approaches to combating this disease that touches upon all our lives and where the research will lead in the future.
