Sun 3 September 2017

Institute of Continuing Education

Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is brought to life by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company in the beautiful grounds of Madingley Hall.

The show starts at 4.30pm, grounds open from 2.30pm. You are welcome to bring a picnic, and food and drink will be available to purchase before and after the performance.

If you would like to refresh your memory or deepen your understanding of the story - why not come a little earlier and enjoy a talk or two with our world class lecturers before the show?

3.00pm - 'The wetness of Darcy', with Dr Jenny Bavidge, Senior Lecturer in English Literature
3.45pm - 'Slipping into the Ha-Ha whilst avoiding the Hermitage', with Twigs Way, Researcher in Historic Gardens and Designed Landscapes

Picnic rugs and small chairs welcome. The show must go on, so do bring a brolly if there is a chance of rain.
